Based on classic 1950’s basketball shoes, the LACE-UP MT is reimagined as an ankle boot. Every detail has been meticulously engineered for both form and function. The upper is made from Made-in-Japan leather, produced using traditional methods. This leather’s source, the town of Himeji, is world-renowned for its leather made from Kobe cattle. The inner sole is made from various materials in varying firmness, including αGEL Foam, for excellent cushioning, arch support and shock absorbency. The outer sole is made from rubber sponge, combining both durability and cushioning. Its form is based on training shoes from our own archives, with a thick shark tread sole and circles at impact zones.
